Parallel
When nightmare becomes reality.
Parallel was directed and edited by Louise Berg as part of her Final Year Project at the University of Limerick in 2017. The film is a reflection of her research paper titled Exploring the Conflict between Surrealist Techniques and Suspension of Disbelief in Narrative Film. Inspired by the films of David Lynch and Michel Gondry, the aim was to create a film that blurs the line between dream and reality, while maintaining a narrative form.
